Student Information
|
Dear Student
You may already have heard that colleges have had a reduction in funding for 2010/11. This will have a limited impact on some of the courses that we offer in 2010/11 but, of course, we are endeavouring to keep it to an absolute minimum and the vast majority of learners will not be affected.
We, as usual, will continue to offer high quality provision and remain focussed on ensuring all our students have the best possible experience that leads to success.
If you have any queries, questions or concerns please speak to your tutor or contact Advice & Guidance (based near the One Centre).
Yours faithfully
Peter Nangle Vice Principal

Paid Summer Work
We are wanting to recruit some students to work as student champions at a number of community events at weekends over the summer. So if you are confident, articulate, friendly and reliable and available for weekend work over the summer (approximately 10 days, mostly Saturdays) please email Frances Sharpe francessh@calderdale.ac.uk
We will provide training, clothing and pay an hourly rate. The work is simple. As a champion you will have to be able to talk with visitors at our stand and help manage the queues for the climbing wall that will be with us.
